The Crown Princess pulled into Cozumel at about 9 a.m. on our fifth day.
It was another gloomy day, but it cleared up fairly quickly. The sun came out near noon, and it never went away again!
The port was quite full of cruise ships. We parked next to the Carnival Legend. Also in port were the Navigator of the Seas, Celebrity Equinox, Norwegian Dawn, and Carnival Imagination.
There was also a ship from a German cruise line named Aida. It’s ships have eyes painted on the side and lips on the front of the ship. Very odd.
We did the requisite shopping, of course. We also took a tour that included wall climbing, zip lines and repelling. Here’s a short video featuring our adventures.
After the excursion, we returned to the pier and shared some drinks with some new friends.
One of the great things about cruising is meeting new people and making new friends. We met a very nice couple from Vancouver, B.C., and they have been really terrific. I imagine that if we lived in B.C., they would be in our local “circle of trust.”
We will spend our sixth day at sea on our way to Princess Cays, which is a private island in the Bahamas.
Here is a list of upcoming voyages on the Crown Princess. Book your next cruise today!
