Sail across the Atlantic with John Cleese

Posted by TravelWeens on June 26th, 2010

You’ve seen him in “Monty Python” and “Fawlty Towers,” and now you can cruise with him across the Atlantic with Cunard.

John Cleese is scheduled to speak as part of the Cunard Insights program aboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 on the Aug. 8, 2010 departure.

If you’ve never sailed aboard the Queen Mary 2, it’s truly an incredible experience. The ship is the very definition of luxury, and it shows in the extravagance of its dining rooms, public areas, theatres and lounges. It even boasts the only planetarium at sea.

If you’re a fan of John Cleese and a cruising, there isn’t a better sailing to book than this one. Cabins for this transatlantic crossing from New York to Southampton are limited, so book your cruise with John Cleese today!

Posted by TravelWeens on June 12th, 2010

The brand new ship from Norwegian Cruise Lines, the Norwegian Epic, is due to make its first voyage with passengers on June 21. It will then make a transatlantic crossing and will eventually end up at its home port of Miami as it sails the Caribbean.

Even though these sailings are right around the corner, there are still cabins available starting at $659 per person!  This is the same ship featuring Blue Man Group, one of the most popular acts in Las Vegas and one of the best shows you’ll ever see.

These are amazing prices, and you have a chance to be on one of the FIRST VOYAGES at a low rate!

Princess opens Alaska 2011 cruises

Posted by TravelWeens on May 15th, 2010

One of my favorite cruises I’ve ever taken was a roundtrip Princess Cruise from San Francisco to Alaska. We sailed along the Pacific coast from California up to Alaska’s Inside Passage.  The views were just astounding (and we went late in the season).

Princess has just opened up Alaska bookings for 2011. Now is the best time to reserve your room on board the most breathtaking adventure to the Alaska wilderness!

These fantastic Alaska cruises start at $649 per person!

That last W-2 has come in! You are finally ready to do those taxes, and — SURPRISE! You have a huge refund coming! Why not turn that refund into a cruise vacation?
